These coasters are hand-woven from banana palm leaf by the members of one family in Bali. The women in this family collect and dry the palms then take over a week to make one set of coasters in between cooking and tending to their children.

The natural blonde colour of this palm leaf is a beautiful compliment to our patterned banana palm placemats here.
